The town on the island of Elba preferred by tourists
Featuring a small marina, the small town lies on the large bay with a beautiful sandy beach , equipped for all kinds of sports.
It is recommended for families with children and for every type of swimmer for the sloping sea.
The most typical part of the town is located near the ancient center of fishermen close to the steps (in the picture), where an easy path takes you to discover the unspoilt cove Galenzana.
On the opposite side of La Foce, the "Path of Rosmarini" scenic and fragrant, will accompany you, through the Mediterranean plants, to the small Gulf of Fonza through the lovely beach of Ischia.
In the village center
In the village center you will find many bars, piano bar and pubs for a cool drink and a moment of relaxation, restaurants, pizzerias and ice cream shops where you can taste the local specialties, food, fashion shops and stands for shopping in the evening.
Just outside the village, the most popular clubs on the island wait for you to enjoy the Elba nights.
During the summer the squares of the old town come alive with concerts and shows. A real must is the beautiful festival of San Gaetano, patron of Marina di Campo and protector of fishermen, 7th August, with the sea procession and the fireworks with music.
